How and when did you get into cycling?
As a young boy, I used a bicycle as a transportation tool in the village where I lived.
When I was 11 years old, I joined the local club and from this point it’s taken bigger and bigger part in my life, I loved it!

Who or what particularly motivated you to pursue a career in cycling?
From a young age I dreamed to become a professional cyclist and to represent my country in the Olympic games. It took me more than 10 years, but eventually I fulfilled both, and I’m still dreaming 😉
Greatest cycling successes:
At the 2016 Rio Olympic Games I became the first Israeli athlete, in history, to represent my country in XCO discipline.
What is your personal highlight of the 2021 season, what are your goals for the season?
Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games! I feel that I have “unfinished business” from the 2016 Olympics. I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time (actually now is one year longer).
Also, I’m looking forward to competing in the UCI World Cups together with the Pushbikers Team. I always said that it’s a different game to do it with a professional team, and I’m happy for the opportunity to play this game soon again.

Do you prefer to train alone or in a group?
I enjoy both, it depends on my mood and the type of the training. The trick is to combine and use the benefits of each.
